Part three of four, Kazin girl! Relaxing in a tree with what looks like a tequila sunrise, but I doubt they've invented tequila yet. Probably watermelon based.
Things I'm happy with: I'm quite in love with the background on this one, especially the Sulawesi-inspired huts. The padi fields were fun, too. And the flowers on the tree, they were fun after all the desaturated, foggy stuff in the background, I was a bit worried they'd bee TOO bright, but I think with the rest of the foreground now done, they're not too stand-outy.
Things that were tricky: THE GREEN. You don't understand, people. I live in Australia, our green looks like this or this. Yellowy, washed-out, frankly pathetic green. I kept having to tell myself colouring this thing that rainforests have DARK LEAVES, 'NARTI. The huge thing in the background and the one the bird's on are still too yellow. It's a really tricky thing to get your head around, that masses of wild plants in forest formation can actually be properly dark green.
Things that need a do-over: Her face, still. I'll look at it again at the end and pick out what's actually wrong with it. Also, not sure I like her hairstyle. I like the idea of Kazinians--or rather, tropical Kazinians--having short hair, but she just looks too fabulously 80s for my liking. I'm thinking I'll change the bird's crest to be a little easier to translate to hair. Also, fix its tail so the red dot is in the middle with a yellow ring, like all the feathers are on her. This mixup wouldn't have happened if I'd been able to work on the whole thing at once, nice and smoothly, but noooooo. Apparently 216MB is too big a file for Photoshop to handle these days.
I have no idea what that bird is called. Red-billed... mohawk bird. I dunno, I'll think of something.

I adore her earrings and the feathers in her hair! And just holy shit that background. NARTI. THAT. BACKGROUND. It is amazing. I loooooove the buildings and iubgfdgbdugbd amazing. Gorgeous mist.
That bird is trying to mate with the girl so bad. SO bad.
I think the angle of her face is fine, and her hand is gorgeous. Her foot might need a tiny tweak. but feet suck, so shut up Sallie.

Maybe if you messed her hair up a little more too, you'd be happier with that? (That is, in addition to the bangs.) I love the background too. (I think about the only thing I actively dislike is, indeed, the hair, really. You're right about it looking too much like an 80s model or aught to work wonderfully with the rest.)

Her wing seems attached a bit low to me for some reason, but I think the arms are what impress me most ... look, she has sculpted muscle!
Perhaps my remembrances are skewed, but I seem to recall a lot of alcohol appearing in your older pictures, too ... is this the REAL theme here? XD

And yes, alcohol is the real theme >D Raykin has a beer, Llayad has a glass of red, Kazin has a cocktail of some description, and Tsayth... will get a glass of water, because they're boring and practical and have yet to invent seaweed wine. If it wasn't for them, I'd be titling these as Beer, Wine, Cocktail and [thing], but alas.
