Scribbles
HB is the online gallery of Annarti. It was formerly called scribble, and hosted partly at bloogum, partly on three separate journals. Basically, it was tedious to update, so I only ever did it once every month or two. Now that it's just a nice, simple LiveJournal, I can update it as easily as I do my own LJ, so it'll now get updated whenever I draw something new ^^ I actually wanted to call scribble HB before I'd even made the site, but for some reason forgot about the name when I finally got around to it, so now it's making its appearance. HB, for the uneducated, stands for Hard Black, and is they type of pencil I use for sketching ^^

I'm 'narti, an Adelaidean chickadee. I've been drawing since I could pick up a drawing utensil (Mum still has pictures I painted from when I was two in a big folder), and focusing more on improving since late 2000. Basically, as far back as this journal goes. I wouldn't say I really have a favourite medium--I love colouring with Photoshop as much as I love my traditional media of Derwent Artists and Derwent watercolour pencils. I'm somewhat obsessed with my Derwents =3;
Scribbling
As you browse through the gallery, you'll find the main subjects of my arts change depending on the year. Started out way~ back at the beginning with a lot of Articuno and Pokémon in general. I then moved onto characters from Elemental, my first original story idea that died after four chapters, but the characters were fun to draw. For a brief period there was Emerald Feather, my first finished original story. It was corny and sloppy, but I finished it, and again, the charries were fun to draw.
Right now, and indeed since early 2003, I've been obsessing over my characters from the Yrae Chronicles, which you can find out more about over at bloogum or the Yrae LJ community. Primarily, they are Nimay, who you can see to the left there, her twin sister Yamin, the Raykinian crown prince Nolryn, the fallen king Yan and the Llayan princess Lynnlita, but a number of other characters pop up as well. They're my pride and joy and aren't likely to die out like all the other characters and stories *^^*
